Wow is all i can say i am actually disapointed i see all these avalanches in the fort smith area every day, and yet we can barely get any action on the arkansas thread.  Angry i would just think that with all of the avalanches i see in this area i would just think there would be more action in this area. I think as members in this area already we need to get as many members as we can. and thats just how i feel. Sad

We've had a couple of GTG's in Ft Smith area.... pretty good turnout then too!  (of course this was back in 03-04 and some of those members that attended don't have AVs anymore.

I was at the GTG'ers we had in Little Rock and in Hot Springs. I will watch this thread and try to attend. Like Tdybr27, I am not much on off roading, but would not mind a little GTG.

Depending on the date & if I can get off from work, I'd be up for a GTG in Arkansas  Cool!  Keep us informed and we'll see what happens

Oh, and no mud for me either, I'm too anal about dirt on my Av to survive that!!  But I can take lots of pictures of other Av's getting abused  Thumbs up!

Sweet guys a little GTG sounds awesome to me and I'm glad you all are up for it. sounds like a plan to me. We can get some things together and make a mod GTG or something. With me just startin to take over my dads business i would be able to get us some great deals on stuff with my local suppliers and maybe have a little truck show. Thumbs up! Thumbs up!

Also guys throw me some ideas on what yall would like to do if we had a GTG.  Such as mod or go to Mt. Magazine, etc.  Let me know if you have any good ideas and we'll get it figured out. Thumbs up!

I've never heard of that Mt. Magazine before- looked up the website and that looks like a beautiful place!!  Since I've never been in the area before, I can't help with location ideas...How big of a town is Fort Smith?

Fort Smith is actually a pretty big town but a whole lot to do. Mt Magazine is actually a good 45 min away. I think Ive come up with something though i used to work for advanced auto parts here in fort smith and am still good friends with the manager. I was talking to him today and he mentioned the annual fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We had always talked about having a good car show to raise money for the foundation. We are thinking maybe having it the third weekend in September there will probably be a registration fee but it will all go to charity . There will be trophies and he talked about giving away a flip out DVD\CD player for the farthest distance traveled this was just an idea and it all goes to a great cause and thought it would make for a great GTG and let the public know more about the CAFCNA. let me know what you guys think and we can go from there. Cheesy

Hey what size tires were on those wheels? Cause a 305/50R22 should fit with just a little bit of rubbing. or turn up the torsion bars a little and that should clear them. Thumbs up!
