Whats up everybody!! Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I just bought my Av on Friday!
I live in Joplin, the southwest corner of the state. Does anybody have any GTGs around here?

Welcome to the club Tanner. Congrats on the purchase. I am in Sedalia, Mo about 2 1/2 hours north east of you on 65. We have several annual type events here in Mo and several impromptu GTG's as well. I am starting to plan a GTG at Osage Beach for the May car show.   You can  check us out at www.chevyavalancheclub.com as well.

Thanks Donnie, I'm familiar with Sedalia, its not too far away. The Osage Beach GTG sounds like a good idea. I'll be checking back for the details on that.

       I just got a 2006 Avalanche from Village Chevrolet down in your part of the state..  I got it Feb. 16, 2009. Had you ever looked at it??
       I have little things to do to it, but seems to be in good shape.
       What year of AV did you get??

I know of Village Chevrolet, but have had no personal experience with them, but I hear they are a pretty reputable dealership. Did I look at your Av? Not that I know of.. I couldn't say because I don't know what yours looks like. I got an '02, and didn't purchase from a dealership.

Welcome to the club. Make sure you keep posting periodically. You need to get an undisclosed number of posts before people can pm you. That way someone can let you know if you miss a planned GTG.
