We were able to get a group discount at the  VILLAGE INN ( In Clemmons)  its about 6 miles from the house..
Nights will be only $68 a night and several different types of rooms available to you.. 
When you call  336-766-9121, be sure to mention the Avalanche Club for the Group Discount.
They are holding a block for us, that can be increased if needed..

Some key ammendities:

They have free wireless internet which for us is HUGE..  Also many other features like room service, on site PUB, and free local calls..
Several folks have stayed there in the past as an overflow for previous GTGs..


Camping is also avaialble for those that would like to go that route..

Room at the house will be very tight..  I know the 2 Bedrooms are already gone, as is the closet...

Anything really in case someone want to bring a camper. I've got my avy tent and a ground tent for the kids that'll be coming with us that weekend.

Closest is the Lake Myers Place..  Have never been there, but will find out about it..

We are off of 801 Near the Bermuda Run Exit..  So its about 12 miles maybe from the house..  Seems to be a pretty big place with cabins etc..
We are also looking at a few hotels about 7 miles away as well..  That will be posted sometime over the next month or so..

mmm  Dont know..  But there is a nice place, that caters to groups which this would definetely qualify for...     So I will try to get the best price...
