Never been to Texas?  Old No.7 Avalanche found a site that I had not thought of sharing, being I have lived here since 1987.
Click on the link below to get FREE Texas maps and things to do while you are here.  We will have an itinerary, but the there is so much to do!  Maybe something of interest on the way down or on the way back home.

http://www.traveltex.com/travelguide/Order.aspx

Thank you, Old No.7 Avalanche for making the suggestion.

Ok... I am opening this thread with a GREAT suggestion by Old No.7 Avalanche (Read post above).  Go ahead and order your FREE maps and when you have your route mapped out, post it here.  I know that there is another Thread:  Routes to Nationals 09, but let's keep this strictly to links of maps or directions so fellow AVers and can get a feel of drive times and miles from different areas from around the map!

Let us know who orders!

Just placed my order.  I have lived in Texas before but it would be nice to get a refresher course on things to do.
