Has anyone "tubbed" their Av and put a narrowed rear end and wide drag wheels? Drive!

Wow, that'd be odd.

Wow, that'd be odd.

Why "odd"?  People tub all other types of cars and even pick up trucks.  So, why not an Avalanche?  1000HP and drag slicks might make for a good drag race. Then put on some wide street tires and drive it home.

It would be a major project, the frame would have to be narrowed and the rear suspesion totaly redesigned. As well as the axle narrowed or a narrow one purchased.

The Tubs would be the easy part! LoL

I don't think it would be odd, it would be badass!!!  Thumbs up!

I like the way you think.  My Av has already had parts of the frame modified, so that doesn't bother me.  Especially if you didn't need it for towing or off-roading.  I'm talking a purely streetable racer.  Now, if I had only ordered my front tires/wheels in a stock width... Roll Eyes
