will be nice to have a supercharger from factory , if  the new ZR-1 has it and the other brands got the Ford Harley D.  supercharger,  ToyotaTRD supercharger, and Nissan Stillen s/c why not an avalanche supercharger.

once warranty is out, that will be on my mod list  love

Those other trucks and the vette have drivetrains that can handle the extra power.

But that would have taken the fun out of installing mine  .  Plus I did it, I know it is done right.  Not to mention what would they charge in labor?

In 2004 or 2005 they had a Joe Gibbs Package which came with a supercharger custom interior and gauges and a funky looking hood and special paint from GM. I had a 2004 Avy and had Arizona Speed and Marine install a supercharger ($6000), programmer (GM did the programming and gave its blessing so it was warranteed), headers, catback exhaust and Hotchkiss heavy duty sway bars front and rear. The dealer put in billet servos and raised the line pressure and the 4L60E tranny never gave me a bit of trouble even after 94000 miles. I had 285/50-20's on it & then traded up to 305/50-20's. The 305's were perfect. Leave the traction control on and that beast would haul a** with no wheelspin. Take off the traction control and lay down about 50 feet of rubber. I did however go thru a locker assy since it gave out @ 35000 miles but fortunately it was under warranty.
That Avy could handle too. I blew away all those imports thru the corners. It was stable, controllable and flat through any corner. Too bad I was stupid enough to trade it. Wanted a new Avy but they are too small on the inside for me.

Drive!
