04 Aftermarket Head Unit Harness??

Hi Guys,

My 04 Avy factory headunit CD player got busted, so I decided to buy a aftermarket headunit that had Ipod playability through an aux input.  So I purchased a Kenwood MP242, a metra installation kit, and an antennae adapter.  Now I need to figure out which main harness adapter to buy.  My avy came with the standard sound system, no bose or onstar, and had XM radio.  I don't use XM, I just want to install this unit to be able to use the radio, CD, and Ipod, while retaining the chimes/safety features if possible.  Any suggestions?

Also, the factory unit had the main harness, the antennae cable, and a second smaller harness with 3 black wires and a green wire.  What is this second smaller harness for, the XM connector?

I went to www.crutchfield.com and plugged in my AV's info.  It came back with everything I needed to install my Kenwood DDX-8019.  If you call them, you can talk to a sales rep that will tell you exactly what you need, and in some cases, can even provide an installation manual.
