I have a 2004 with all the bells and whistles. I wanted to now if the stock 6 disk head unit had RCA jacks for running an external amp. I don't want to half to take the dash apart to find out. Thanks for any info yall can give me.

Nope, no jacks on the back of it. PacAudio makes adapters for this application but I don't know what the part numbers are.
Lots of threads on this subject you should be able to find that info in.

I think the # was AAI-GM24 (or something close to that...)

One thing to note is that it provides TWO sets of RCA inputs, but will NOT work if you have the factory DVD, XM, and external 6-disk changer.  Seeing as your headunit is already 6-disk, I doubt you have the external 6-disk, so even with the DVD and XM, you should be OK.

Install instructions are at:  http://www.pac-audio.com/instructions/aaigm24v2.6.20.pdf
You will NOT need to connect the single orange or red wires unless you have an aftermarket amp (red wire) or the SWI-X adapter to retain the steering wheel controls (orange wire).  These are not needed if you have the factory radio and amp.  Just tape them up somewhere so they don't touch anything.
