Sahara Sam's Water Park GTG - June 6th!!

Happy Spring, NJ!!!

I want to get a GTG started, I'm shooting for some time in April or May for Sahara Sam's Water Park.

Individual tickets are $23 weekdays, $26 weekends/holidays. 

Looks like prices went up a little.  $27.95 for over 48", $22.95 for under 48", 2 and under is FREE.  They have an offer going on now (May 4th) for $2 off the full price ticket - go to https://tickets.saharasams.com/mainstore.asp?vid=0 and use code SAHARA2OFF to get this price.

For a group rate, we need 20 people, and this also requires a 25% deposit.  As of May 4th, we are at 13 people. 

Date set for June 6th!!!

This is an INDOOR water park, and they also have arcades, meeting rooms, etc...  Check out the website and post what date(s) you would be willing to attend!

Again, we need 20 people to get a group discount (not 20 AV's)!!  Since the park requires a 25% deposit, I would need to get the deposit from everyone attending before hand, to ensure that we have our 20 people and that you will be attending.  The remaining balance will be payable when we arrive.  Thanks for understanding!  I'll send out PM's when a date is set in stone, with my paypal address.  (if we don't hit 20 people, we can still go, it will just be "full price", which is about $26 per person.)

I would love to go but April is all booked up the first 2 weekends r spent with the fiancee before he deploys, the 25th is my sons 1st bday party but may might work depending on my schedule with my sons father and when I have him and what not. When you have a set date I can tell you if I can make it.

I have been wanting to post since this came out, but the Boss hasn't posted the new 9 week work schedule for the Summer Months yet.

Looking at the projected schedule (should everything remain the same) I will be scheduled to work June 6th at 3:30 pm.

So I have to wait till the official 9 week schedule comes out.  If I am still assigned I can try to make some kind swap.

The Boss usually waits till the last minute to produce it, so that schedule will probably not be out till about May 20th or 21st.

I know this doesn't help you as you need a confirmed head count of at least 20 people.

I wish I could give you a more definitive answer at this time.

Hopefully as the date draws closer you will have 40 or more confirmed people and it won't be an issue.

We're planning on meeting up at the southbound rest stop on the Turnpike around 9am.  This will get us to Sahara Sam's around 9:30, which gives us a bit of time to hang out in the parking lot before they open at 10am....

It's between 7A and 7.  Technically at that point, we could hope through the backroads from exit 7 over to 295 and hit Rt 73 from there...  would save a little on tolls that way too.

Well, been back from Sahara Sam's for a while now - had to take a nap, as I had a huge headache afterwards, but feeling better now, enough to go online...

I was only able to get a few pics of the AV's (both of them) in the parking lot.  I didn't want to get my camera wet taking pics of the rest of the park inside, but Nancy got a bunch of pics.  I wonder if she'll post the palm tree pic...
