Thanks Kev for being such a trooper, and trying to recruit!! Wish I had more time to help you!
Still checking on June 21 Lunch at Charlie Horses. So is this an Official GTG? and have we advertised on the board for it?
And yes, what time are we eating...?

It hasn't been made official yet, but if you want to take over the idea and start it up I'll back you up on it.
I just don't have anytime to talk to the Charlie Horse people right now. I'm busy this weekend and next weekend is the 21st. Let me know and I'll start a thread for you. We can get a head count and all that good stuff.

OK guys, I just read/looked over almost every old post in the NE threads. We used to be a pretty big group from 03-05 it looks like. And I noticed allot of good ideas for GTG's that never became a real GTG. Also there where some that did and we should try to do them again. The only thing that is going to hold us back is our numbers. If we can get 10 people to commit to a GTG then it will be a real good time. So lets all try to agree on something and get the ball rolling. I noticed allot of you guys used to be really active.

The connecticut guys were always having mod weekends and bowling and stuff. My first gtg was battleship cove that was fun and interesting. The car shows are cool but sometimes the wives arnt into that. We used to do the canada gtg that was a few days long we did a picnic and sight seeing good family stuff a bit pricey though. We have done cook outs at peoples houses played games had cocktails loads of fun. It would be nice to get some of those going on again. Lets get it together and get a couple good gtg going

I'm down for whatever. Anyone can put together a GTG. It doesn't have to be just my ideas so lets start getting some stuff going. The one idea that was thrown around alot back in 03-04 that I kind of liked was King Richards Fair. Sounds like it could be something that would be fun for all ages. I really liked some of the holliday light ones I seen also so I'll have to try to get that going in winter. But the only way it will be really fun for everyone is if we can get every one on board. The more people the better for GTG's.

I could PM everyone if they want. But what I'm saying is if we can get other guys to put together GTG's also then it would help too.

Well my buddy has a show that he is organizing and all the proceeds go to Cancer Research at Dana Farber.
Maybe a GTG there. He also mention that he wanted us to go because a few members from the Tundra club will be there. Heh, a little friendly competition.

I have been thinking of trying to get together a date for a GTG out her in western part of the state. We have two parks, (Look Park and Forest Park) that would be a good time for all. One you can rent a gazebo and grill. The best GTG i have been too have been the ones you just sit around and shoot the S@#t and have everyone bring something to eat and drink.
Look Park has paddel boats and a little petting zoo and a train ride.
Maybe some time in August.
Maybe we can see if there is any intrest then I can look into renting the gazebo and grills.
We can take a cruise down to the basketball hall of fame for photos.
Just a thought.

Tundras??? Now I got to go to this show to represent american trucks and try to shut the Tundras off from trophies. Looks like a really good cause too. I say we sould make this a GTG. I can try to get the 9 cars from my car club to go to. I'll see if my car club sponsor will send me some girls to model also.
