Last payment on my second AV was made in January of this year.....pink slip arrived and no more payments!!! No car payments in our budget anymore, great feeling!!! Bonus is, gas prices is way down so I can stick my foot in it without feeling guilty at the pumps now!   chevy Here's wishing this on all of my fellow AV'ers soon!

Yes it's a great feeling to have the vehicle paid off.  love chevy

My father taught me years ago to keep making that payment into a savings account and then by the time you need a new vehicle you will have a good nest egg and possibly be able to pay cash for the new one. You also have money to use for a family emergency. If you spend the new found monthly money it will only hurt you when it comes time to get a new car and you have to work the payments back into your budget.

You know Stacy I got to thinking about your thread here and...

It's ok by me if YOU have a pink slip...heck you can even have a drawer full of pink slips for all I care...

But...is it proper for an Av to have a pink slip? 

I mean when Amy drives the Av...she doesn't dress it in a pink slip before she pulls out of the driveway...

and then there's the NAKED AV which apparently doesn't wear pants like the CLADDED AV... Shocked

I am just confused about the pink slip thingy... I don't know















can we just call it a TITLE  I need a hug







(and before anyone thinks I am being sexist here....I definately think TRUCKS/AVALANCHES ARE FOR WOMEN TOO)  Help me!

Great words of wisdom, and so true! With 2 college funds for the kids, retirement fund, savings, and did I mention 2 kids? Our oldest had his braces removed in December, and the AV paid off in January, it is nice having the extra $, but it is going into the above areas. Hopefully the AV will last a long time and we won't have to worry about a new car anytime soon. (that's what savings and Great credit is for!!)

Thanks again for the well wishes and here's hoping all my AV family will get there soon!
