SoCal Foum Off Line sorry to see this = a very sad day

Last month...SoCalCindy announced on the SoCal forum the following information...
Quote
Hi all.... sometime in near future... can't say exactly, but when I have time and get around to it, I am going to go ahead and re-direct the socalavalanche.com and other related domains to the "California" board on the national site. (CAFCNA).
Anyway... just a head's up so you're not surprised when the forum is no longer here at this url.
Hope to see you at a GTG in the future
It is very sad to see that today the Forum is offline...
My thoughts and prayers are with Cindy...
we wish you the very best and hope to see you here on CAFCNA and pray you will continue your CC position here representing SoCal...
one of the locations where it all started in the first place

There is no reason why you and other SoCal members cannot continue here on CAFCNA and hopefully reestablish contacts and GTGs

Absolutely right I CHNGE.
From it's inception... the SoCal board was only meant to supplement this board.
I'm sorry it's offline, but no one was using it much anymore anyway.
I look forward to going to many more GTG's in the future, and if I can ever get a Sat or Sun off from work... maybe I'll plan a GTG soon too...
There are still lots of active members all over SoCal.

Butch it was sure a pleasure to meet you both at that "lil" GTG. That event is still my favorite out of all the SoCal past events.
It was great seeing you in South Dakota as well... I sure hope we can meet up again some day.

OK... just a lil update. I finally had a chance to redirect the socalavalanche.com, socalav.com domains to the "California" board here on CAFCNA. Hopefully it's working OK...
So anyone who has a SoCal decal, t-shirts, etc with the socal domains/web address on them... they are still good... and will come here.
Hope that made sense....

Cindy, very sorry to see the closing of socalav.com but I can understand why. That the site fell into dis-use was certainly not your fault.
Thank you for the hundreds of hours of hard work you put into it. And the great fun with you and Ken and other socal and norcal members.
Will keep in contact via CAFCNA.
