My 2003 Avalanche Z71 is coming up on the 75k mark. I haven't done much in the way of PM, so it needs to have most of the basics done. I am also have a problem with what I believe to be is a fuel pump problem, so I will probably be getting that replaced.

I'd like to find a good service place in the NW Valley that I can trust and that will be reasonable. To date, I've had all service done at Power Chevy on Bell & 91st Ave under warranty, but I think they are a bit too expensive when I am footing the bill.

What are all of the maintenance items that would be recommended for 75k?
-Fuel Filter?
-Cooling System Flush?
-Tranny Flush?
-New Belt(s)?

Thanks in advance!

Although there's a good bit to discuss on the actual items to be done (perhaps do a separate thread for advice on that?), I'm moving this to AZ since you're looking for a recommendation there.

I know a really good guy in phoenix. but not NW valley. I live in litchfield park and drive to this guy at 35th ave and Indian school he is very inexpensive and always does a good job. his name is Bob http://www.larryharkersautorepair.com/

Also I design, test and work with cooling systems all day long so I could help you with the cooling system flush. That should save you around 100 bucks and it will be done correctly.

Thanks for the response. That's the kind of place I'm looking for, I'll probably give them a try unless I hear from someone else with a closer shop.

I'll take you up on the coolant flush. Let me know where and how much. You can email me at ryan.denke@cox.net.

Any other suggestions for what to do after 5 years/75k miles?
I plan on:
-Coolant Flush
-New Belts
-Tranny Flush
-Fuel Filter
-Oil Change, of course.

Air Filter is fairly new, and I believe I need to have the fuel pump replaced so I'll do that as well.

Thanks!

Sounds good. I'm kind of new here, so do I just need to keep watching the message boards or is there some email digest or other place I should watch to hear about the next GTG?
