1fastrider -
I'll let ya know next week.  Going in to "the doctor" up in Canoga Park on Monday.  After speaking with MagnaCharger in Ventura they tell me e is "one of the best"  (installed over 150 and knows what he's doin).  I spoke to their other "recognized installer" down in San Diego and he wasn't sure if the tranny needed to be "recalibrated" or not (I already knew that it should be, just testing his knowledge, he did call me back and confirm that it needed to bt recallibrated, but I feel that he should have known already... the guy in Canoga Park already knew).
San Diego price - $6800.... Canoga Park - $6300.
Guess ya know where I'm going..
Still cheaper than a new Duramax!!  AND I still prefer the AV!!

Would love to get a ride in that once you have the tsv in.  Also interested in knowing what kinda costs involved.  :-)

1fastrider... Got the MagnaCharger installed.  This thing REALLY woke this truck up!!!  Not noisy at all but you can definitely here it once you press the pedal down Thumbs up!  Should have done this much sooner!!  You are welcome to ride in it but be warned... you are gonna want to spend the money when ya get out!!  You would never know a 5.3 could do this.  Really suprised a lot of people (especially the Mercedez-Benz that "wanted" to jump in front of me at the light to get on the freeway). Big laughter with tears

Sounds great.  I of course already wanted to get this but I'm thinkin it'll have to wait a year.  Sadly I have to ration out my toy purchases.

Totally understand.   Have been frustrated over the performance when i've towed.  Not anymore!  Don't have any plans on any more mods anytime soon.  This was more than I had wanted to spend but was at the point I wanted to take this thing "out to pasture" and shoot it.

Let me know when you are around Lake Forest/Mission Viejo and we'll get together.  A really nice Car show at Fuddrucker's on Tuesday nigh from 5-7pm (El Toro Rd and Arbor Way.  Just 1/4 mile east of I-5

1fastrider..butterfingarz,

How about this coming Tuesday night (2/8)??  I'll be there at 5:30 in the afternoon.
To get there you exit El Toro Rd (off the I-5).  Go east (towards the mountains).  There are (3) lights.. 1st - Bridger..  2nd - Rockfield.
At the THIRD light (Arbor Way) turn left and you'll see the car show at Fuddrucker's (off to your right).  Usually lots of cool rides there and the food ain't bad either.
Look for a Black Avalanche parked off to the side..  It'll be mine.
Hope to see ya'll there!   Let me know if ya can make it.
