Indianapolis Dave & Busters GTG September 19th

Indianapolis is opening a new Dave & Busters this month. By September the crowds should have thinned a little..........

Since I have not hosted a GTG in a long while and I have a birthday coming up in September what do you say to a FALL GTG at Dave & Busters?  September the 19th will be the date and I suggest that we meet up there at 1PM, hang out in the lot for a hour or so and then go in and eat and PLAY! I am not going to reserve a dining room unless we get a large group interested because there is a charge for that. I figure if we eat between 2PM and 3PM there should not be a problem setting together anyway...........just one other thing NO GIFTS!  I am old enough that you don't need to buy me anything, just come and visit. 


       What: Dave & Busters Birthday GTG

      When: Saturday September the 19th at 1PM.
                 We will be there all afternoon and into the evening,
                 if you can't stay for the whole day stop in and visit when you can!

     Why: To GTG of course!

The GTG is GROWING! Some of you have asked about hotels and I have found a BARGIN. In Anderson Indiana at EXIT 26 off of I 69 there is a America's Best Inn and they are running a "Economic Stimulus Rate" through September the 30th. Rooms for $42 to $49 and it is a NICE HOTEL.

Look through the list of hotels and pick the one in Andeson Indiana. Anderson is just north of Dave & Busters right up I 69. If we have a few members staying overnight I will either cook breakfast or we can all go out as a group!

I just got home from my first Physical Therapy appointment.
I have about 45 degrees of flex so far and they want me to be at around 120 degrees of flex.
I have a ways to go.

     Won't work when it's in the middle, I'd still have to be there on either side.  Either finish up that morning and be exhausted all day or have to leave early to drive back home and go in that night.  Working midnights, taking a day off only works on the first one or the last one...not in the middle.

I remember that well, I worked midnights for years. A 6 day work week was awful but when we went back to a 5 day work week it almost seemed like we had a 3 day wekend.........

I finally worked out a schedule to be able to attend.  The annual Chaney family reunion was moved to next year.  The wedding I am doing sound for is now being held at 6:30 pm and the amateur radio testing at the church should be done by 11:00 pm. 

Kathleen (now 18, as of the 16th) is unfortunately tied up in an all day marching band practice.

It should be me, my wife and 1 visitor.

zzzzzzzzzzz   I slept in, lol.   It was great seeing everyone again, here are a few on the inside, and one of Joe finishing up a parking lot mod, the all four on high, wooohoooo gotta love it.


We had six AV's in attendance with a couple of lookers driving AV's, one which stopped and talked a bit, one creepy guy in an old Celebrity drove by real slow and checked em out, hmmm well I assumed he was checking out the AV's, oh well. lol.    I think we had 22 people for lunch, wooohooo it was a great Birthday GTG for Butch!
