Ran the quads on Friday and then took the Avalanche out on Saturday with my coworkers Jeep club. Slammed into a dune with the truck and pushed my bull bar into the grill/bumper, pushed the front bumper in a bit, and both front fenders were pushed into the doors. Other than that it was a great weekend for riding out there. Not too hot nor cold it was just right.

Could have been worse, I'm just glad that was all of it.

Pretty much... I was picking up speed headed towards one of the dunes and as I came up on it there was a big dip right before the incline of the dune. So I hit the dip and just did a nose dive right into the side of the dune. It was probably at 25-30mph and just came to a dead stop. Glad the airbags didn't deploy cause that would have ruined my day.

What he said.............but i'd add "wouldn't be surprised if both frame rails are bent upwards more than just a tad............."

Yes, it was silverghost and I did hear the horns. Every time we passed each other he was on the horn and they sound great.

Guilty as charged!  I LUV the train horns!  love The boxes arrived on Monday and had to take an extra vacation day on Wednesday to install them but it was worth it.  We have pictures but we still have to down load the camera.

For anyone thinking about getting train horns, do it.  They are awesome!  We have noticed teenage girls are the best to scare.  They jump 1-2 feet in the air and scream almost as loud as the horns!

Does this count as a GTG?

 Big laughter with tears
Train horns rule!    A buddy of mine has the best "scare".  A guy walked out in front of us in downtown Detroit this past January at night after a snowfall which made us stop under our green light.  As we made the corner and the Av passed with him on the left side, my buddy hit the button and let out a short burst from the train horn.  I looked back in time to see the guy picking himself up out of the snow in the middle of the street.

Have you ever seen someone get an electric shock?  The kind were their entire body tenses, they grit their teeth, and the hair stands up everywhere?  That is how my one cousin reacts to the horns every time, even if he knows it is coming?   Thumbs up!

I swear, I will get my pictures up soon.
