i can't find the bloody things anywhere!!! i've got the brushed aluminum ones from the z71 package.. all i want is to find the ones from the normal LT package, the polished black ones.  i ASSUME you can get them like from a GM parts place as the replacement.. but i cant seem to find them anywhere online.  anyone have any advice?  (other than call a dealership)

thanks for any help!

LT's came with body colored handles and mirror covers, not black. The LS came with flat black plastic handles and covers. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ has body colored mirror covers. I don't know where you can get handles though.

Ebay or the for sale section here. If you search on ebay, Tahoe, Suburban or Yukon handles from 07-09 will work to. I "think" Silverado handles will work to.

I have 2 extra sets of the mirror covers but they are not polished black. The are the rough black plastic. I bought new signal mirrors and they came with 2 sets of mirror caps, but I used my body color ones from my original mirrors. If you want them I would be willing to sell them cheap. You could use like it is or sand and paint.

You can find them on ebay..... I've watched a half dozen or so over the last few months. I just type in "chevy avalanche 08" and scan through the auctions.

I've been thinking about replaceing my painted white ones for painted black. I'm going with a black and white theme for my AV. Prices are $75 to $200+/-

Hi There. I recently purchased an 09 Avalanche LT2 with the Z71 4x4 package.I  had the door handles and mirror covers changed from factory silver birch metallic to chrome @ the dealer. The old/ new parts are available as I do not need them. You will just had to paint them to match your Avalanche. Email addy -----> banjo18@comcast.net

Are those still available nest?

If not, does anyone have the GM part# for color matched (black) mirror covers?  Seems like every color is available other than black.

Yes they are. What do you need? Only the mirror covers? I also have the black door handles
