So anyone wanna go on a 2-day backroads 4x4 camping trip??

I was looking for OHV Trails and came across Oregon Off-Highway Vehicle Association.  Check the link - they have maps and pics of the trails.  It would be dry tent camping, but it looks FUN.  Anyone wanna go?  Timeframe is open.

Comon!  Anyone?  Puuuuullllllllllleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassssssseeee eeeee!!!!

Seriously, I seem to now have some time on my hands and am just ITCHING to go somewhere.  But I don't want to go alone (never know what may happen on these back trails).  We could do it mid-week, week end, whenever.  Comon!  Let's Go.

Oh Boy!  Lookee what I got in the mail today!  MAPS!!

And got my off-road sticker.  (Yes, in OR, trucks/jeeps/etc are considered Class II ATVs off road and require a separate license.)  Already got a shovel, and I ordered a 3lb Chrome Fire Extinquisher!   Just have to add 3 gals of water and I'm all legal-like to go!

Got a friend who wants to go along as a rider!  So that at least lessens the impact if I have a problem.  But I'm still looking for someone else in another vehicle to go along.  Prob 3 days/2 nights or so.  We're thinking mid-August.  Anyone?  Anyone?

(BTW, started looking at 6" lift kits too!  Shhh!! Don't tell the wifey!)

Okay!  This is a GO!  Week of August 17th.  Exact dates TBD based upon anyone else who wants to go.  I'm looking for anyone!  (Even emailed the local Jeep club.)  Com'on!  Anyone wanna go?  It should be an EASY drive - nothing to major.  Shouldn't be anything broken.

Last Chance People!  I'm all loaded up and leaving in 30 mins!

And MAN, AM I FULL!  I'll post pics when I get back, but let's just put it this way - I had to put back about 12 beers in the fridge at home because they wouldn't fit!  (Don't worry, there are already about 36 in the AV in 3 different ice chests.)  I even put the roof rack on top of the bed covers and have got that full.

Talk to you on Sunday!
