Now that summer is upon us and IMHO the best time to go visit the local Southern California mountains, I thought I would have us So Cal members vote on a date a location for a summer drive and picnic. The top location and top date  will decide our next fun-filled GTG!!!!

I am including links to the choices so you can gage location, interest and scenery (and trails for driving if applicable).

Now, I know I am good  but not always that good, so if you feel I left off a choice let me know and I will add it  Thumbs up!

So the choices

#1Palomar Mountain- which can include a drive up to observatory and a tour inside

Palomar]http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=637

Big Telescope]http://www.astro.caltech.edu/palomar/

#2 Idyllwild Mountain

#3 Julian Mountain

Hope we can get a lot of participation on this, by pre-voting on date and location we should get a nice turn-out  chevy

I should mention, that after you vote please post what you voted for. This will do two things: Let me know exactly who wants to go, and will re bump the thread to encourage more participation.  Thank you everyone  Thumbs up!

Thanks  love

I thought it would be easier than working out the details in a thread.

Any more votes before I go with Idyllwild on the weekend on the 25th & 26th of July?

Thank you all for your input  love

Our next GTG will be the 26th of July at Idyllwild Mountain!!!!  This is a great place. Once we drive up the hill and into the small town we can scope out the town a bit and then I can lead you onto some great trails where we can stop at a yellow post campsite and have a BBQ and hangout.  I will start the official thread with more details  Thumbs up!
