Here are directions to Idyllwild. I think we should have meeting points so we can all go up the hill from Hemet to Idyllwild together. We can work this out once we know from what direction people will be coming.

From Los Angeles (about 100 miles)
Take Freeway 60 or Interstate 10 to Banning.
Exit Highway 243 to Idyllwild.

From Orange County
(about 93 miles)
Take Freeway 91 to Freeway 60, and then Interstate 10
to Banning.  Exit Highway 243 to Idyllwild.

From Palm Springs (about 47 miles)
     Take Interstate 10 to Banning.
Exit 243 to Idyllwild.

From Palm Desert
(about 47 miles)
Take Highway 111 to Highway 74, and then
Highway 243 to Idyllwild.

From San Diego
(about 114 miles)
Take Interstate 15 to Hwy 79 South, then take Highway 371
to Highway 74, and then take Highway 243 to Idyllwild.

There is a lot of fun driving to be had!!! Make sure you have a full tank of gas and sign up for bringing food and supplies!!!  I love this place and I am sure everyone will have a fun time  chevy Sign up!!

Sounds like fun, but I won't be able to make it Saturday. Sad

Just curious - are you guys planning on camping out there, or just hanging out for the day?

Just hanging out for the day. Although I have toyed with the idea of camping out myself. But may not since Hubby told me today he wont be coming with me  Beating

Is there an exact location in Idyllwild that we meet up like at a gast station or something like that?  I haven't been up there before.  Also should we have a couple people's cell phone's in case we don't see ya or will it be obvious who's in the group (I've got So cal Avy sticker on my back window).

I was thinking we would all meet up in Hemet at a gas station (will be more specific soon) then we would all drive up the hill together. I will pm you with my cell # so you can have that. I put 10am as our time to meet up so I hope that gives everyone enough time.

Ok friends  Wave  Tomorrow is the day  chevy My husband will be lowering a truck on Saturday so he wont be joining us, but my good friend Jodie will be taking his place.

I tried last night to post this but my Internet was freaking out on me. This is where we should all meet up at 10 am on Saturday.

The "Jack in the Box" on South Sanderson Ave and West Florida (79)  Thumbs up!

Patty, I got your email and will give you a call as well.

Also, if you have two-way radios, bring them. I just have two and we will need two more.

I am looking forward to this  love

There is no cost to drive around, which we plan on doing. However, if people want to have lunch in a park with restrooms, then usually it is a $5 charge per vehicle. Otherwise we will find a yellow postsite, which is free, to kick back and eat  Thumbs up!
