Not able to make this Farewell GTG for them.  Take care Sean and Holli and I will look you up during my frequent travels to San Diego over the next 2 years.

When is the relocation happening?

That really sux.  We're going to be heading out of town this coming weekend for Buick event.  The Av is going to do it's first long towing job.

I'll miss you guys.  You two were one of the first people we met in the Av community.  You both are largely responible for me buying an Av.  Not just because of the sweet truck, but also just being genuinely nice people.

Take care and good luck on the wrong (I mean left) coast. Smiley

Hey All...

Originally I was going to be leaving in October, heading for duty on a guided missile cruiser in San Diego (USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN CG-57).

I found out last week that I'll be leaving in August instead. August 6th will be my last day in MD. I was only given about three weeks notice. I'll be heading to Pensacola,FL for 36 days of training before  Holli meets me in Augusta, GA around the 11 of September. We will be heading to San Diego on or about the 18 of SEP.

Sorry..no STI this year.

I know it's short notice for everyone. I completely understand if folks can't make it. I've been stressed to the max trying to get ready to move in less than three weeks. It's doable, but it sucks.

Understand completely, and it's been a pleasure hanging out with the two of you. We'll miss you both dearly. have a great weekend with the GN.

You're welcome at our place anytime!! I'll make sure you have my cell before we leave.

Sturgis? Awww man!!! I'm very jealous. Have fun and be safe!!

Wish I could you guys!  Unfortunately I won't be able to make it.  Maybe on your way to Pensacola, if you're driving, we could meet up somewhere.

Godspeed and best wishes to you both!

Good luck in San Diego.  Do not drive across the bridge with the windows down and loose the parking pass, they will not let you park on base without it. (Someone I know did just that within days of getting his car and pass out there).

Just PM me for the address! GOOD LUCK in San Diego!

Thanks Eric. I'll be heading to PCOLA from Augusta on Sunday the 8th (very early). If I don't catch you then, maybe on the return trip in September.

Good luck in San Diego.  Do not drive across the bridge with the windows down and loose the parking pass, they will not let you park on base without it. (Someone I know did just that within days of getting his car and pass out there).

Thanks Maverick!!
Getting a pass is such a PITA, I know that guy was fuming!!! Over the bridge is an all open drive for me. I love the breezes up there, especially in my nice aerodynamic lifted Avalanche that handles like a brick wall..lol  banghead

Thanks TC. I've been trying to get back to SD for years. I'm looking forward to going home.

Don't go out of your way on my account Marie-Anne. You've done so much for me already. We're glad we could share our house with you. Hope to see you at some point before we leave.

oh BTW..Tail light problem was a fuse. Found that after I replaced every component on that side.  banghead banghead banghead Having all that stuff back there actually makes it harder to troubleshoot, especially without a schematic!!
Miss ya.

Heather.

I'll only be in Augusta for a day the weekend of 7-9 August, but Holli and I will be at least a few days around Sep 14th. I'll let you know but the weekend of 11-13 Sep may be perfect.

Since we missed the last several GTG's with you guys, you are invited to stop as you pass through central Indiana and I will cook up some cheeseburgers and serve them to you in our new "diner"!
Just PM me for the address! GOOD LUCK in San Diego!

Butch.., you all were my first AV family. I'll never forget  Indiana, and the special people up there. Not sure when Holli and I will be back up that way, but we will do our best to see you if we can. Love to you both!!

Best of luck CT & Holli! Wish I could make this. Guess I'll have to come see you in SD (oh darn!)  Good luck with the move.

Love ya both  love  love

Thanks!!

I hear the flights are pretty cheap if you fly into LA!!  Lodging may cost you though

Sean and Holli, you know if We could make it there Sharon and I would be there in a heart beat. But we've used up our vacation with two weddings (Niece and Nephew) and the Nationals.
If your travels to the West Coast are going to take you through the DFW area please let me know. We'd love to see you two. You're welcome to crash at our house any time.
