Lunch at the Crab Shack with Viper, Big L, and AvCop and my wife was a great memory too.

Then there's Ye Olde Man O' Tin leading me around the parking lot and introducing me to folks I didn't know.
Then there's Mo.
Then there's meeting so many, too many to list for the first time.
Then there's the fun "trash talk" about the GA / Florida game.  (I have yet to win a smack talk war down there.  The last time we won, there was no STI!  banghead banghead)
The Tailgate mod, autographed by Lord Aries.
The kids going around Trick AV treating, not to mention a couple of Jack Sparrow clones!
Then there's well, there's just SOOOO much!!!

Hmmm... Favorite STI memories huh... I have so many! I have been to STI's 2-5!

Lots of modding specifically Tailgate mods with my brothers LordAries and Sourmash, there were others along the way that helped out too but that was always our thing.
I remember meeting some whaco with green Mylar hair. He had this way of asking me for something that I just couldn't say no to.
Bootheredneck and his hoe, and Kelly
Hangman taking me out to shoot things.
Sand fleas! I Fooking HATE them damn things. THEY ATE ME ALIVE one year!
The Pirate Parade Snaking around through that with Sourmash and Tybee Jack aboard. Then the fuse for the horn blew out, and we got out during the middle of the parade and popped the hood to fix it n and out in less than 10 seconds!
Loggie and his NOS. I didn't work on it full time but I was there when they needed the help. That still is the fastest time I have ever wired in a mod, and we still made it for the cruise!
The grapes on my visor are still there from when the big guy put them there at STI-III
Oooohhhh The time I helped make Sourmash cry twice inone weekend. When we gave hm his AVIC-Z1, and suprised him with his family!
Modding on Huggie's truck I think I was sealing in a strobe for him under his truck during tropical storm Tammy. I think his truck still has scars from that one!
Willyorca singing J-E-L-L-O in the parking lot at the top of her voice!
Oh and then there was the time that I got layed! If I figured it out faster, I might have been able to to run fast enough from it!

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I am sure that's enough for now. Oooohhh I think the Big Guy kissed me on the lips at STI, I am over it now, but at the time I felt violated. I don't know what I did, but I am sure someone out there felt that I deserved it! Too bad I can't make it this year. Like trAV, I'll have to rely on my memories. Damn School!

Well...

Mike (hugz) brought a fog machine with him to STI. We had to think of something else to do with it, So.... Lord Aries had just completed some work to his engine before arriving at STI. We placed the fog machine under Aires AV and asked him to start his engine so we could see/hear what he did to it. When he cranked the engine Hugz hit the button to turn on the fog machine, soon steam/smoke was poring out from under his hood. He shut the engine off thinking something was wrong with his AV. I think Hugz took took most of the blame for that one, but I'll never forget the look on Dave's face when he thought something went wrong with his AV.

And Cheers! to all of the family/friends I have made over the years.

Thinking about the time at STI II I think, when Boo bought the Hot sauce on River street..  Yes the one that burns when you touch it..
We were strolling along and he DROPPED it onto the ground breaking it into pieces..  Needless to say I never saw someone so sad, as it was time to head home and the store was several blocks away..  He had to wait til next year to get another one..

It is hard to just come up with one:

For my first STI, it was definitely the kindness and helpfulness of all the great people I met.  Tommy (Krukedways) and Jessica really stepped up to the plate and bent over backwards to help me with the brush guard and wiring.  CodeBlueEMT and Heidi gave me a Carolina decal and maglite mounting brackets.  Vetman and his wife introduced me to Zaino and fixed the scratches on my flare.  Trav put ambers in my truck.  Byron and Warwagon were helping finish up the wiring for the snakeeyes and tailgate lock when JohnB and Aries joined them to get it all finished before we left.  It was also obvious that RB has a good heart.  He was helping everyone with parts.  Thanks again to everyone that made the first one for me (my first real GTG) so enjoyable.

On the humorous side, Gilligan and the Skipper skit from the first STI I attended...followed by John B's boa.  Then there was the food at Skippers with plastic bags of water hanging, frozen shrimp and gelled cocktail sauce.  She also made sure to tell us more than once that separate checks were not allowed.

As far as the last STI:

The basket that Chris gave to his Mom at the last one that Trav described so well at the beginning of this thread.  I think that one touched us all.

When 03 White Diamond paid to stop selling tickets so that the playing field would stay fair.  He has a very big heart.

Driving up River street with people watching and hearing someone say in a strong southern accent...."there must be something really important going on" as all the trucks went by...in his eyes I guess he saw a bunch of VIPs.

Sourmash and Sweetmash and a few of us went to dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.  That was fun...especially with R B demonstrating his exhaust cutout.

I was also very appreciative of White Diamond's son for helping me get that darn brushguard to stay together with the help of loktite.  Thanks Chris.
