I am currently using the GM ipod lockpick from http://www.coastaletech.com/GM_IPOD_LOCKPICK.htm on my 08.
I have my ipod stashed in my glove box and the only time it see's daylight is when I want to add new songs to it.
1 current issue I do have with it is sometimes the lockpick doesnt want to read the ipod especialy on cold day for
sum reason. And coastaltech is known for the worst customer service. Maybe someone is using a better unit but this
is one you can use.

I'm using the same thing .... it drives me nuts ... I can go for days with it plugged in and it will not see the unit .... I can go other times without it plugged in and I have to tell it to go to XM and not use the ipod .... it drives my nuts ... if it would just see it when it is plugged in it would be fine ... otherwise play the XM radio ....
