So I bought a Cadillac Night vision camera to go with my HUD, but I am missing somthing on the wiring side. I don't want to trial and error since they are so expensive.

Here is where I am:

Camera with two connectors, one two pin and one six pin connector:

Here is the wiring diagram for the camera:

and

so I am missing where I feed power, and where I pick up my video. Anyone with a good idea?

Thanks in advance,

Anders

How is this:

C1 is the 6 pin connector. C & D pins in C1 is the signal, but the shielding is connected to Pin J of the HUD. Pin A on C1 is a 14 volt reference voltage. So that leaves b, e, f, it looks like C1 pin E is ground on design 1 and pin B is ground on design 2. If I am reading it correctly, on design 1 you supply power to pin F, which would use all of the pins. On design 2, C2 pin A is power and C2 pin B is ground

The Deville with the night vision used a hud camera that displayed on a special windshield required to make the display visible with little distortion. The windshields are deferent between night vision and non-night vision Deville’s. If it had the wrong windshield installed the display looked pretty bad. It was a really neat option that didn’t last long. It was a little expensive and rocks broke the cameras all the time. Cadillac put a wire screen in front of them on the later builds to try and stop the breakage.  I’d love to see this install when it is done. I always liked the night vision option.

I can't seem to find the thread but over on MP3car they were messing with this. You are going to need to go to pepboys and buy some window tint, cut a square where it projects to be able to see it correctly. You can search over there for you info i'm pretty sure they got it working atleast.

But don't have a price or a clue what I am doing!

Just another idea
