Come join us for a relaxing, beautiful and fun trip down the Harpeth River.  We will rent the canoes from Foggy Bottom Canoe Rentals, just outside of Nashville in Kingston Springs, TN.  The trip will take anywhere from 2 – 6 of hours straight paddling.  Of course a little longer if we want to stop off for a rest, swim or picnic.  Afterwords we can mossy on over to Jim & Nick’s BBQ for a late lunch or early diner.

Pets are welcome so you can bring the family dog if you want.  It would be a good idea to have a waterproof container/storage for your camera, cell phone, wallet, etc.  You should bring some bottled water or drink of choice as long as it is in a plastic container.  Please keep all disposables in the boat until we get to a trash can.

It would be a good idea to see their Tips page -> HERE

Rates:
The rates are as follows:
•   2 hrs ----- $29.99/canoe
•   3 hrs ----- $32.00
•   4 hrs ----- $34.00
•   Kayak ---- $25.00

If we get a group of 5 or more the price would drop to $25.00/canoe.  The canoes can hold up to 700 lbs, so 2 or 3 adults or 2 adults & 2-3 kids should be fine – you can do the math….  .  Again the price is per canoe, not per person so it's not all that expensive.  Depending on how many we rent, the price could go down a little more. Included in the price of the trip will be the canoe, paddle, life jackets (except for kids under 25 lbs) and transportation from the take-out point.

All routes running well.  The water is flowing great!
Come with us and canoe Nashville on the scenic Harpeth River. We're the place to come if you want to canoe Tennessee rivers. We offer the best service and the lowest prices on the Harpeth River.
Scenic canoe trips, on a Class 1 river, through historic areas. Family fun. Primitive camping. Call and ask about our campsites. Camp right here for free when you rent a canoe.
We are here to help you enjoy a great canoe trip down the Harpeth River. We'll provide the canoes, paddles and life vests. Then we'll provide transportation to and from the river. We even have shaded parking so you don't have to come back to a hot car.
The Harpeth is a Class 1 river, which means that it’s slow-moving with a few mild rapids thrown in to wake the paddler up. It’s an easy float for anyone who wants to fish, swim or just relax.
Around almost every bend of the sinuous Harpeth is a gravel or sand bar on which to stop and swim, sun or picnic. Fish are jumping, especially smallmouth bass, and also catfish, croppie and perch. Other river critters you’re likely to see include otters, beaver, deer, blue herons, ducks, snakes and turtles. The scenery itself is an eyeful – mile after mile of overhanging trees interspersed with grassy fields and towering rock cliffs.
