Is the So Cal area doing anything local for the Worldwide GTG or is everyone traveling across state?

I would like to do something local. I am pretty sure I will still be broke at the time so local is easier on my wallet.

Yes as I have pm'd you, we will have a local WW GTG. I have not posted anything yet due to lack of details. I need to speak to the other CC for So Cal and to the Nor Cal CC.

Is there a date set for the worldwide GTG? Has anybody decided what we are going to do yet? I would love to do a joint GTG with NorCal and meet somewhere half way.

I know this is not exactly half way, but how about we hook up in Monterey at 17 Mile Drive?  There are plenty of photo ops along the drive.

We could meet at the 1st vista point after the entrance which is Shepard's Knoll - Interactive Map of 17 Mile Drive

There are 21 points of interest along the drive.  We could then camp out at Pebble's Beach for lunch.
