ok, so i'm new and looking to buy an avy. problem is... i'm poor :-o. so im am looking to buy a high mileage Avy, between 100k-125k miles. Ive heard that some 1500s can have stressed transmissions. So, do you guys think a 1500 or a 2500 will be more reliable at this mileage range? i would much rather pay 10 dollars more a week in gas than replace a transmission.

Well I would go 2500, IMHO they have way less drivetrain issues, but the gas mileage sucks.

Nothing against the 1500.
