To all who attended last year did you find the Tropicana Express a nice place or would you rather try something new ?

The Tropicana Express was a nice place, the only thing I didn't like about it was the parking situation! Where ever we can get the best rates works! That's the important part I think.   Thumbs up!

We liked the Riverside the parking was a lot closer but what ever everyone decides is OK.

Man I did not like it there . My room smelled like something died in there. Several people complained about it there. Tropicana Express offered us a floor in the garage last year but that would have meant Todd, Rangercliff and I were unable to get in there  Big laughter with tears
Listen first we have to go with who is willing to give us the best rates and roped off parking. I had some great offers last year but unfortunately super bowl week end ruled most of them out. Now that I see we are going in Feb. I will call them all again and try to get us some more goodies as well as good rates and parking.
I would like hats or gaming package included what about you folks ? If it had not been Superbowl weekend I had some good things set. What say you ? Go with the best rate and package and parking or just roll with the Riverside ?

I say go with the best rates, I know coming out to Laughlin can be expensive for some, so I'm sure they would appreciate having an inexpensive room. I know we would! You did a great job last time so we trust your judgement! Is there anything you want me to do on my end, Joyce?

No I can get the Hotel booked but have to wait a few more weeks. They do not book this far in advance however I am hearing their offers. I will PM you from this point on ok. Also sending my cell so we can make sure Laughlin continues to be the great gtg it always has been.
Since Laughlin is where it all started for me it will always hold a huge spot in my heart.

My main concerns are no smoking and secure parking, low room rates are 3rd on the list.

All hotels have no smoking rooms as well as no smoking anywhere but the gaming area. I am sure you can go with that. We have many smoking members that attend as well so a total non smoking casino would be unfair.

I did not mean a total non smoking place, that is wrong. I just wanted a room that was non smoking, I get sick from the smell of cigerette smoke.

Please check all hotels....Best rate and parking are #1 and #2 priorities for all I believe.

Aquarius (was Flamingo) was good to us a few years back also.

I agree, especially with the economy the way it is, best rate is probably everyone's 1st priority.

Well not too sure actually. It seems that the alternator is doing the trick but I have not driven him but maybe 20 miles since and have not turned on any electronics.  Skip is coming home for Xmas and son in law will be here they will use their meters and get a handle on it if there is still something wrong.

It has been quiet in here for a while, so I thought I would see how the progress was going. Have we heard anything yet, Aussie? Believe it or not it will be here before we know it! I'm getting anxious! I'm all done with my X-Mas shopping so now I'm bored. Let me know if you need me for anything, Joyce! O.K.? Happy Holidays to all!
