Didit, Lu jomomma & I are cruising up to the HOLIDAY DINNER in Bronson, Michigan  on November the 7th. This is the third year for this GTG and it is always a big, fun GTG. If anyone wants to cruise up with us lets discuss it here.

We will be leaving from the Meijer gas station at 10:10AM

This is in front of the Meijer store that is just SOUTH of EXIT 26 off of I-69. PM or email me and we can exchange cell numbers. We will be meeting up with a group from Ohio near the toll road at 12:45 and cruise on up to Bronson with them.

If you want more details about this GTG or want to let them know that you are attending please follow the link and let the CC's know in that thread.

Butch

GBT, Scott41677, and I are planning to meet avyfanohio when we get off of the turnpike at I-69 about 1:00 p.m.  If you plan to be in that vicinity around that time, we the Ohio and Indiana carAVans could arrive at Bronson together.

There is a gas station in the Valley Outlet Center in Fremont, IN at the corner of 120 and 127.  Which is right at the turnpike exit and 69.  That is where I am meeting GBT, OldVMer and Scott41677. I'll be there around 12:45.

Maybe I am confused but by looking at my map it looks like you can only go from I-69 onto the turnpike and the other way around at that exit. I see no way to get off of I-69 and back on right there.............I could get off at exit 154 (about a mile south) and the drive up on 127. Then to get back on I-69 we would need to go north and take exit 157 onto I-69.....is that the way it looks to you guys? No problem, I just want to be clear. The timeline looks OK to me, I will PM a couple of you our cell number and you can send me yours and we will see if we can meet up.

You are correct Butch.
That is the way you do it.
You get off at the 154 exit and take either side of the road, both sides will drop you off on 120.
Then to get back on 69, just take 127 further north and get on at 157 exit.
You can get to 120 if you are travelling south on 69, because there is a little access road between the two off ramps that drops you off just in front of the stoplight, but i don't think there is one going the other way.
There is also a truck stop right at the 157 ramp on the east side... I think it is a Mobil.
Might be a more convienent place to meet.
I went to school at Tri-State for 3 years and got to know my way around there very well.

So, you guys go to Coldwater and then take 12 down to Bronson?

Not on really good roads...
But that no concern for an Avalanche.
I think you could take 120 west to Orland and then at the 4 way stop in town take a right.
That road should go right into Bronson, but it is county roads.

I'll have to check my map software...

I take 13/131 up to White Pigeon and then take 12.
Easy squeezy lemon pleasy.

According to Google maps, there is a ramp to old US 27 (127) that branches of the ramp from the turnpike to I-69 south.  That would be the direct way for the Ohio group to meet reach the gas station at 127 & 120.  Looks like Butch would need to exit I-69 at exit 154 and follow 127 (old US 27) north to 120.

We we leave the gas station, I would anticipate taking 120 west then 327 north as just as Blue Pig wrote.  Looks like a little more than a half hour to Bronson from there.

We hope to meet avyfanohio at 120 & 127 a little before 1:00.  Butch, we can give you a call if you aren't there before we leave the gas station about 1:00.

We could be there a little before 1:00, but with the current plans, I don't see it being any earlier than 12:45.

Bills is right on the corner of Chicago Rd and 12, there is no need to travel 12 coming from Coldwater.  If I remember right!  I'm gettin older though, lol

In Indiana, all even number state road usually run East/West and odd numbers usually run North/South.
So that doesn't even work.

12 is a US highway, and an old one at that.
It used to be the stage coach route that went from Detroit to Chicago.
