SEMA is this week. I'm going one of these evenings this week.....anyone else going? I may be able to get a pass for someone if interested.
Other than that I don't know of anything going on.

I would be interested in going to SEMA if you can get a pass...we will see what comes up in the near future for a GTG and hopefully come up with something.

Our month will be unpredictable. Whatever is planned, whenever you plan it, IF we can make it we will.
I am sure it will be a good one though.

The confusion around hear got real confusing today, but we may be able to make it if something gets planned. Things are still up in the air though.

Hey guys, looks like I'll be back in Vegas from Friday evening until Monday morning (early). We're golfing at Painted Desert on Sat. Anyone around for a beer one night? Maybe beers at a sports bar on Sun?
We're staying at the new Courtyard Las Vegas South on Dean Martin Dr this time. Near I-15 and Russell Rd.

Oh no! You are not seriously stayng there are you? That has been all over the news the past month for the drug wars and the bed bug infestation. It seems that one drug cartel used that as its base camp and the other drug cartel wanted to get rid of them and take over the location so they let loose a couple thousand Bavarian Bed Bugs. That kind of shook things up a little but both cartels are still waging war back and forth and if you are believing any of this you can start laughing now.
Might be able to make it Sunday, I doubt we will have a babysitter so Kim may have to hang out at home.

TheKid is asking about the stewardesses? Will they be attending our GTG at the sports bar as well?

Now that was a good one
I'll ask the other pilot about sports bars. He's a huge Cowboys fan
so if they're playing Sunday I'm sure he'll go. Any suggestions for locations?

Great , I'm a perfect stewardess too because I will test the drinks first to make sure they are perfect for the passengers.
Oh and for the Dallas comment

muck and SEMA didn't work out. My guy who gets my pass dropped the ball and forgot.

I like this one thread all over type thing. Kinda like a shotgun, everything is covered, nothing is safe.
What do you all say about a GTG in a couple weeks, maybe on a Thursday? We can hang out at the house, cook something special for dinner like, I don't know, maybe fried bacon and bologna sandwiches.

Ok this thread needs to get back on track...let us see what we an come up with for next weekend that would be the 14th, 15th or the 21, 22nd. Maybe modding for a few hours at one of our locals, I need to install the flashlight mod and check a few things I am sure we all need to mod something on the AV.

Great idea. I need to mod my water pump.
Apparently it drank too much because it is leaking. What the heck, you would think these things would last longer than 135,000 miles.
I guess I could also swap out my transmission shift cable, the new one is on the shelf in tha garage. But I will probably use the stranded wire to tie the new one to the mounting bracket because I don't want that tiny little plastic clip to break again and leave me unable to shift gears again ..... so that puts me back to not needing to change that cable.
And it needs an oil change.
I will have to check with Kim on the dates though. Would a Saturday work for everyone?

What about, possibly watching the Homestead race next week Sunday? It starts around 11:30 am our time. There is a decent chance the championship will still be up for grabs, and it might almost be an interesting race.

Absolutely not! Hunting, and poaching, may be the only way I can afford to put grub on the table.
I might be selling a supercharger though. With the diesel Ram I can now pull both the AV and the Toyhauler, and still pass everyone else on the highway.
Oh, by the way I am glad you dropped in John, I owe you a
for talking about more kids.

Will there be a meeting?
What's with the blood and urine?
Will this thread last in to December?
Did Denman buy something with a Chevy engine?

Garage Sale GTG is tentative, due to complications with morning, noon and night sickness. The neighbor is still a go with her yard sale, thinking of making an offer so I can expand my yard.
