I have tried to put in a Eclipse AVN726e double din and it almost fits.. I am lacking about a half inch maybe a tad more and was wondering how to remove the back bracket. Has any one done this? Any tips on how to doing it? Right now the unit is in but the bezel around the front isn't flush the way i want it to be.

Thanks in advance

There is no need to cut the metal bracket but the plastic piece that sits in front of it. After cutting that the double din looks AMAZING...
