Just called TurkeyVille USA...Iv never been there befor but it sounds like a Order line go sit down style for lunch. Its not real fancy. Sounds like Deli style order...Everyone still ok with this? No reservations needed for lunch. Also the Dinner theater is a 12pm dinner 2 oclock show... 35$ a person. Im not intrested in that. The Flea market is only open during the summer months. There website made it sound like they are open all year around.... humm... Country store will be open! Everyone ok with this? Still wanna go to TurkeyVille? Im still down! Cheap lunch and get to hang with the AV crew! |

I will be attending the funeral of my good friend and next-door neighbor Saturday.  Richard Johnson (age 78) was a good man, we shared/loaned each other tools and elbow grease to use them, I'd snowblow or leafblow his yard when I did mine. Wendy would make him a plate when she cooked up something good, I'd make him a plate when I grilled up something even better. We had the keys and alarm codes to each other's homes, that's good neighbors. I'm much richer in spirit for having the opportunity to know Dick, he served in the Navy and me in the Army, both of us work/worked for GM. Say a toast for my friend at TurkeyVille for me,... Dick was also a very active member of the Lions Club, a worthy charity organization. |

Thanks Heidi, it's not like we didn't know it was coming, doesn't make it any easier though.
Wendy and I have each lost both of our parents in the last 15 years,...
Then an old spry guy that we both grew to love bought the house next door, how cool is that ?

have fun at TurkeyVille Saturday I'm not missing a GTG, I'm attending a much larger GTG of a different nature. I expect to see at least 100 people that Wendy and I know at Richard's funeral on Saturday, I'm afraid to hazard a guess on how many strangers we might meet. I want to dedicate this Thanksgiving to good neighbors, I hope each and everyone of you is lucky enough to have someone like my late friend Dick move in next-door. |

Its was so clear that I stopped and watch the shuttle fly over head as it made its approach for landing , Now its like 60 and perfect.
