I have a vibration in a 2007 avalanche with 25000 miles
its an z71. when stopped or idling you can feel a slight
vibration. very annoying . chevy said it is a normal
characteristic HuhHuh
I have driven many vehicles and never noticed anything

Does it feel like the whole vehicle is shaking? I pick it up sometimes and feels like the engine is vibrating the vehicle.

yes that is exactly it
as if the engine is shaking the whole vehicle
can not be normal and very annoying

Chevy service said it normal for this truck
Likely story
I'm thinking its engine mounts anyone any ideas on how to have chevy
deal with it???

Ideas?...try a different dealer. Quite possibly one of the peripheral rotating assemblies inducing vibration or perhaps dirty injectors....who knows, but it's certainly not normal.

My '99 Honda V6 Accord started doing the same thing a couple/three years ago....a vibration at hot idle that disappears as soon as I pick up the throttle. Mildly annoying, but not getting worse and not bad enough to make me want to go the the trouble to track it down.
