Excellent site guys!  I have been to many forums but this one is continually updated and always has excellent info.  I know this problem has been brought up in the past but can't seem to find the link for it, even after searching.

2003 2500 8.1 53,000 miles
Had Cluster Replaced under recall (that you folks saved me 300 bucks or so on! thanks again) about 6 months ago

Now my problem is, is that my fuel gauge is consistently showing empty.  This sometimes will be resolved by filling up (37 gallons x 2.57 = EXPENSIVE).  I have tried Seafoam a couple of times over the past year and that does not seem to resolve the issue.

Does anyone know has there been a recall regarding this?
Anyone know of any fixes if there has not been a recall?

Thanks

I just use STP fuel injector cleaner when mine starts to do that. Mine was caused by sulfur buildup of the float in the tank.  The injector cleaner is 95% kerosene and it will dissolve it.

chevron techron fuel system cleaner, the same stuff the gm sells. dissolves the sulfur deposits that form on the sender that causes the gauge problem, gm recommends at every oil change!!
