Just Popping in to say hello all. . .

Great site BTW.  Just got me Avalanche and am hoping to get some modding done in the near future.

I'll work on the FTDRL as soon as I finish my backup cam wiring and LOF(was a little scary cutting into the handle bezel and notching the tailgate skin but it looks sweet!)

Hello All
New member here, wanted to know if anyone has a factory head unit for an 03 avalanche? just purchased a avalanche and it has an aftermarket radio in it-  not impressed with it and want to get the truck back to o.e.

Welcome....

I am here in Lincoln NE... I would offer the stck radio from my AV but its just a radio.

Is the aftermarket radio that bad? Mine sounds pretty good but I did have to change out the factory speakers. Do your door speakers say BOSE? You might want to do a search on the bose amps and bypass.

I'm happy to help more if I can.

Hello Everyone.  I just ordered an 05 Avalanche and should be here in about 2 weeks and I can't wait to get it.  I'm already looking into all the mods I can do to it.  I thought I would jump in here and say Hi and so far I really like how this site is setup.

New Av member here from Fairbury,NE I got my avy last december and love it!  I got a 03 Sunburnt Orange with gray cladding soon to be black. Gonna see if that gatorback stuff works.. Anybody try that here in Neb. yet??

Hello all!

I live in Council Bluffs, so I figured I'd better say hello here as well as the Iowa forum.

I have a Red '02 1500 Z-71, purchased it new either the first week of September or last week of August '01.....don't remember. I had one of the first half-dozen or so in the Omaha area.

Hey members

I live in Omaha and Have the Marron 04 AV with Cladding. You probably seen it driving around with no hood and fenders BC I bought it salvage and fixed it up. Right now it has black front cladding BC I am in the process of paining it.

Let me know of any future meetings in Omaha.

Just wanted to add this in the Nebraska area so everyone will see.

If you are having any troubles with your knock sensor I have a friend that will do it for a 100 bucks.

He has all the correct tools and he knows his stuff. All you need is the parts. He just fixed mine and my AV is running better than ever.

Gauging interest for a midwest G2G July 23rd-25th for the Worldwide G2G! We can figure out a central point and meet up somewhere there! I realize this is vague right now, but I want to check on interest and where people would be coming from first!
