Being fairly new to the site, I obviously didnt know Goo. But after reading, and I have done ALOT of reading. I almost feel jealous that I didnt have the chance to meet the man.  The love and admiration, just overflows. I find it really hard to hold back the tears, as I read the most wonderful things.  As I sit here typing this I cant help but feel honored to be a part of this club. It's not just a club, it's an extended family.

Reading thru the threads, I couldn't help but feel the sorrow for the loss that you fellow Avalancers had  for Goo.  It is quite obvious that his memory will be held in the hearts of many who continue sharing a common love for the Avalance.  It is also amazing too how such a unique vehicle has bought friendship and camaraderie to a worldwide group as this one.

As a realtively new member to the club, I did not have the opportunity or pleasure to meet Pete even San Antonio is not far from Fort Worth.  But, if I may offer one passing condolence to all.... Goo's love for the Avi still lives on in each of us.

My belated condolences to each of you that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Rocky07..... love

Pete,
Nationals this year were a blast, thanks for any help you had in making sure our members were fine during their drive out, at the event and on their return journey home.

Lights off, lights on  love

I suspect someone somewhere will understand.
