I have seen tire wax on tires and never thought to use on the cladding...

but for my tires I prefer the 303 type products....it gives them that low satin sheen and look brand new again.....

I Use the meguires product, they make a vinyl and rubber protectant product and it comes in spray on application also, i spray it onto a small rag and spread it evenly thick enough to not run even enough to not streak, as a test i did it tp one of the bed cover sections and not tohe other, its been 2 weeks and the difference is still night and day, and it rained, great product

Interesting......HAs to be the surface adhesion properties with EAGLE 1 are very low since it is a bit oily....?

Did half of my cladding with the Eagle1 following YGMN's directions for application and the other half w/Mother's Back to Black, rain is in the forecast so we shall see which one holds up the best.

I had alot of rain and snow and rain and sun and rain and rain and sun. Eagle 1 lasted longer, beaded better.

Interesting....RaggTopp side is a little bit darker today?!?

I used the Eagle 1 Tire Shine yesterday after a wash and it took the tiger striping of my upper cladding right out.  Made the cladding look like new.  Only a few sprays goes a lone way.  I applied it with the Eagle 1  Tire Swipes.  Made it real easy.

Ive been using the Mothers Back to Black and really like it. What I do is park the AV in the sun, pour some of the product onto the panels, then spread it all around with my hands, sort of "massaging" it in. I wait about 10 minutes, then buff the pannels with a terrycloth towel. Ive found that doing it this way the shine lasts longer and will streak less.

Keep these side by side comparisions coming! If theres something else out there besides the Back to Black thats better (and dosent cost an arm and a leg), ill be more than happy to switch!

well i decided to try the eagle 1 tire shine today on the cladding. it looks great. i have had the armo-dillo done twice to my truck in 3 months. looks great but fades again in about 4 weeks. i will be very happy with the eagle one as soon as it rains and does not run or streak will keep you updated.

I tried the Eagle One on the cladding last week.I sprayed it on a foam applicator first then rubbed it in.Didn't use much and let it dry about 3 hrs.Went for a ride and got out and looked at the cladding and the dust had stuck to it like a magnet.Roads are stiil pretty bad up here from all the sanding this winter though.I guess I'll have to try buffing it after it sits a while.

buffing does help as it removes any excess......but stuff may still stick....but it wipes off easily enough and washes off too...leaving the shine behind...

I just detailed using Eagle 1 for the first time this afternoon, and I am very impressed. My 13yr old son and I applied and buffed it to the cladding in the garage, and even my teenage "you can't impress me" Mini Me said how good it looked. For the price, and the results obtained, I don't think I'm going to mess around trying any other products.

A couple of weeks ago I treated my cladding for the first time.  I used DuPont Teflon Protectant.  It claims to repell dust.  At the very least it doesn't attract dust and looks very good.  I did get a little streaking after the first rain, but one wash and that was gone.  It's been about 2 weeks, it's rained 2 or 3 times and it's been washed 3 times.  It still looks great.  Has anyone else used this and what did you think?
