I do believe that all vehicles sold in Canada in the past 4-5 years (referring to non-import vehicles here)  DO COME STANDARD with block heaters;  little known fact as most people have no need to use them, EXCEPT up here in the cold north!!

Yup, Yak is correct...   Canadian Export package includes block heaters..  Government requirement.....  Now this is on a vehicle originally shipped to Canada...

If you purchased a vehicle that was originally shipped elsewhere, then there maybe no block heater in your vehicle, with no requirement for it to be installed.. as it would be classified as a used vehicle...

Yes they do, at least west of Ontario.... HOWEVER you are going to have a heck of a time getting the cord. Open hood, look down around area behind headlight driver side. Should be in that area but quite a ways down. May want to wait for the first service at dealer when up on hoist, may be easier to get at that way. Mine is still strapped down there. Have never got around to using it.

Hey, For the bumper.. if you have it sent by truck vs. courier it won't be too bad. PLus the trucking company will likely clear thru customs for you, just make sure to ask.
On duty, you are going to pay GST of course, beyond that, if the stealth bumper is made in the US or Mexico there would not be any duty on it. If it is made offshore then there would be duty.

Sorry I should have described it a little better. Its a WBH LT 4X4 ( not a Z71) loaded including sunnroof and navigation. TNR is the coolest option I have ever had in a vehicle and the Canadian maps are great, I haven't found anywhere between here and Campbellford (near Trenton) that wasn't on the map yet. Anyway ambers will be the first mod along with a couple of goodies I have been collecting in my garage while I have been waiting for the AV to arrive. I will post some pics when I get started. Great to see so many local AV owners in my area!

It is presently a Smitty's but we are doing a big renovation and when completed we will be changing to a White Spot. If you come through after Dec 3 the Smitty's sign will be gone and we will be calling ourselves The 8th St. Cafe until the reno is done. Stop in for sure would love to see your Av. Also my brother is from High River so you may know him. Sure makes the world seem small.

in July and to my knowledge I have not seen anyone on here yet from N.B. and would be very intrested in starting something up once there. I have only been an AVY owner since New Years EVE and I will become a full member very shortly and boy let me tell ya, how I ever did with out I don't know.To all Avy owners in the Ontario area a question, I have noticed alot of decals on here for Avy's from our friends to the South, are there any decals out there to be had from Canada like Canadian flag bow ties etc or even a contact in Ontario where I could get cool decals?Thanks for the help in advance and you would never believe how pumped I am about being a part of this club and being an Avy owner.

Yep, BOWMANVILLE is a MYSTERIOUS place as well!! I took my Av there for 1 Full Day last June!!  I arrived with stock DRL's, and I left with AMBER DRLS     and I did not even have to do it!!

Here's a pic of my truck in Texas just after getting the bumper.

Yes the colour is different between the bumper and the cladding. Right after I got back from the trip I went to the dealer and they did a 'Armor-Dillo' treatment, now they match.

Ok, you are all a terribly bad influence on me.     I have just spent the last couple nights adding a switch in the box for the cargo light, doing the sail panel LEDs and today bought Silverstars and installed them. What can I say, I love modding my Av !!!!  Of course, I had to come here and update my profile to keep it curent.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I also added a chrome and gold Chevy Bowtie receiver hitch cover and locking pin (so no one buggers off with it).
