I have a line on getting a center console for my '03 AV .... the center console has the rear seat radio along with the Bose Amp in it ....  Smiley

I currently have the stock (Non-Bose - Non 6 Disc Changer) radio but I do have ordered the SPS-171a speakers for the front and then SPS-170a for the rears ...  love  thanks Enkie for the advise on speakers ....

My Question: What would I be in for if I went to the Bose radio? ... is it just a remove this radio and plug the bose in? Cost? .... tough install?  Would it even be worth it?  Huh

Please advise ... Thanks ...

If your Avy did not come with the Bose system, I don't think it would be worth it to install the Bose system...there would be so much wiring and harness making etc... Also, Bose systems are not very friendly...they really "keep to themselves". (Bose amps dont work well at all with aftermarket speakers and Bose speakers dont work well with aftermarket amps) It is because Bose does really wierd thigns with the impedences and wattages and speaker loads etc... What I would recommend is that you get the 6-disc changer head unit (the unit that normally comes with Bose systems). THEN get an "amp interface adapter" from PAC. (you can buy this thru www.jpcustoms.com) Then hook the Delco 6 disc head unit to an aftermarket amplifier with the PAC adapter. That way you will keep the stock look, keep your steering wheel controls (if equipped), keep XM, keep OnStar, etc... And you get the 6 disc changer! Sorry If i was a little unclear...im pretty tired!! If you need any clarification or other help, just ask! Hope that helps you out.

...if I won the lottery, I'd put an Avy body on my Dmax...

Thanks for the update .... I ended up letting the center console go as I found out it was light gray and I have the dark gray interior ....

so if I end up getting a console then I just won't worry about the bose stuff, if it has it ....

Thanks
