This is the one that I have http://www.garmin.com/products/sp2650/. It has worked out great for me. I think you are very limited because of the dash DIN openings as what you can put in your dash on an '02. Good Luck

The '02's only have a single DIn though. That is the problem. BTW, love the Bus!!

I have the Pioneer AVIC-N1. I love it and there are others on the site that have them also.

This is what I'm getting as well. I looked into the Pioneer system but decided to go with the Kenwood. It gave me more options as far as "add ons". Correct on the single DIN..... I tried to mount my Kenwood and need a different trim kit..... the one it has is too large...  banghead

I just made a laptop mount and bought a cheap GPS USB reciever. It runs Street Atlas well! The screen is much larger than the standard nav screens and I can easly remove the laptop when I need to!  You can read and see some pic's HERE:

The 02 is 1½ DIN. or 1.5 DIN, whichever you prefer to say it.  You may need to do a work-around of the flip-outs clearing the shifter.  Shorten it or set the unit up to not auto-fold.

I have a 'truckputer' which does my Nav for me.  Advantages are that I get to use it for all kinds of other things at the same time.  Currently using it for MP3 playback (only 5000 mp3s), DVD playback, XM radio using XMPCR, and I am running Copilot Live version 7, using the StreetAtlas USB GPS receiver.

Take a look over at www.mp3car.com and you can find lots of info and software frontends.

My computer is an Epia M10000 in a Travala/Castronic C134 case.  It is one DIN... have to use PIE GM-AUX9 to jack into the CD switch on the standard radio, but it works great.  I have a 7" widescreen touchscreen monitor mounted on the center console that lines up with the auxiliary power access door.

Copilot is really great SW, rerouting is super fast, not the annoying "off track" that Street Atlas 2003 gives.  I tested my stuff against a brand new Lexus, and except for the quality of the voice (if you've heard the Lexus you know it is pre-recorded prompts and not text to speech syn.) Copilot beats it hands down.

Yes the 02 Av is only A 1 1/2 din..And A good Nav is the Kenwood kvt815 or the 915 with the 4100 nav...

The Pioneer is nice but not as easy to use..
