I love my Black '05 Chevy Avalanche

I just bought a new 05 Avalanche and I am about to get the TNR kit (and six disk CD) from JP but I would like to have someone professional install it, since I am pretty sure that I will mess it up if I do it.  I am in the North San Diego County area, but just about anywhere in San Diego or Orange County would work.

The Dealer recommended a shop that does their custom audio, but they will not install the kit from JP.  Of course, the Dealer will not install it, not even if I buy the parts from the Parts Department!  They said that if it did not come from the factory installed there is “no way to add the navigation unit”, and that “the harness won’t support it and the entire wiring harness would have to be replaced.

Thanks in advance

I will post this on the SoCal site and see if anyone knows of a good installer. You should also consider joining the local site ( http://www.socalavalanche.com )

BTW, Welcome to the club, and good luck on the install.  Grin
