LI/NYC Chapter Decals On Sale Now - $6 each

Hello to all the Long Island/NY Metro Area Avalanche Owners (Old & New)

I would like to start a Roll Call/Contact List of Long Island, & NY Metro area members so I can make you aware of upcoming events & GTG's here on Long Island and in our area. I would also like to see how many total members we have in our area.

Edit: If you want to be added to the Roll Call Contact List please post your info here in this thread, and then I will add you to the list in this thread
http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/cafcna/index.php?topic=45775.msg715182#msg715182

I also encourage you to print CAFCNA Club Information Brochures found here http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/resources/index.html
and tag as many AV's as you can in our area.

Edit: Instructions for printing the Brochure:

Click on the link above and scroll down to where it says "Information Brochure For Owners"
and then click to open the document.

Print ONLY PAGE 1 FIRST...

Then FLIP the pages over and put them back into your printer and print ONLY PAGE 2

Then TRI-FOLD them into a Brochure...

I personally carry about 20 or so with me at all times in the AV.

We had a some great  GTG's on Long Island in past years with one GTG that had 40+ Avalanches attending from 4 different States and even one from as far away as Ontario, Canada.
Things have quieted down since that time and I would like to see NY once again as active as it once was with a lot of participation especially from our Long Island and metro Area members.

Let's see if we can make the future as great as it was in the past for the Long Island/NY Metro NY area and all of Region I.

Please Post Your name and where your from. If you want you can also PM me your Telephone number.

If you care to you can also tell us a little about yourself and your AV.

Let's Rock !!! don't be shy... post up and introduce youself.
Thanks,
John

Come on now don't be shy...  Embarrassed

Let's get the contact list growing.

I personaly know we have more people in the area than just the one's that have posted already.

If any of you know someone in the Long Island or NYC Metro Area please tell them about the post.

Also, I encourage you to TAG as many AV's as you can.

Let's build a nice list  Wink

I just printed out a brochure and its 2 pages each. Cant somebody design something that fits on one page? That would be much better. Maybe a quarter page and an actual card would be even better. I would chip in some $$ and I am sure others would as well.

Nooooo....

What you do is only print PAGE 1 FIRST...

Then FLIP the pages and put them back into the printer and print PAGE 2

Then you TRI-FOLD them into a Brochure...

If always have about 20 - 25 in my AV all the time.

and what's up Mr D ?  Don't you have a printer ?

Looking at them that makes sense now. They should update the pics to include WBH and an EXT though:A:

I like the cards better.

Dave,

What we talked about on the phone makes sense about the cards, but I like having both options.

I will pic up an inexpensive business card making program, and some card stock and print some out for us.

idea  Luwanna has given me an idea.

 Here it is...

I know it's short notice, but if the weather is nice on Sunday (we could go to Hooters if it is raining) how does everyone feel about a simple meet and greet GTG at Belmont Lake State Park ?

Some of you already know we have had a few there and they were nice.

Of course we BBQ'd and stuff but maybe because it is short notice we could just GTG hang out and BS for a while and maybe all go somewhere for a bite to eat afterwards.

We could discuss what type of future GTG's we might want to plan and where to hold them (camping, historical sights & tours, BBQ's, Hooters, etc, etc)

When I get a chance tonight I will PM everyone on the list about this so they know to look here for further details.

NOTE: when you signed up on the list you should have checked the box to be notified of responses to this post.
