I seen in the resources listed on this site that some of the early 2003's build in late 2002 had a 105A alternator installed even though the truck's data sheet says its a 145A. Apparently GM will replace?  The sticker on my truck says it was built in 12/02. Is there a way to check this on my truck? I was wondering if the list of codes in the glove compartment would detail this?

Also looking for a source to explain those same codes. Anybody know a source?

Try this Link for thr RPO codes. Without going out to look,  The amps are stamped on the alternator.  They are...just looked at mine.

Thanks! That's a good starting list of codes. I've gone out and checked against my AV. That list has a bit less than half the codes listed on my AV. So I'm on a mission to find the rest.  Smiley
