Any recomendations in connecting the diodes if I don't know how to solder or have the soldering equipment....Also, I am trying this on my 2004 2500HD and they have a small blinker light in the lower outside corners that blinks intermittent of the current single blinker....Does it need a diode and to be linked to the trailer wiring as the current brake and blinker light?

You could use the pink or red color butt splice connectors with a good pair of crimping pliers.

Don't worry about the corner turn signal bulbs, just need to tie in the main circuits. Most don't even blink unless the parking lights are on (that's way the circuit is setup).
