I have a (likely) stupid question to ask...but since I want to be 100% sure with this install, its a question that I must still ask.

Lux Amp / TNR install is in process on my '06 GMT360 (Trailblazer SS).  I have a new Class-II amp for the T360 ('04 Envoy Denali), and the TNR has been reprogrammed to a "lux" by machomachodan.

Everything was going perfectly smooth, Amp-connectors have all been rewired, up until I hit the point where I have to tap into the Class-II feed for the Lux Amp.  It was *supposed* to be very simple, as there is a splice-pack (SP206 / 306) underneath the rear-passenger seat that was to have a circuit for "Amplifier Class 2 Serial Data".  Well, guess what, the wire isn't there on my truck.  So, instead I have to opt for alternate Class-II feeds...and FINALLY my question(s)....  Can I tap into *any* Class-II data, or must it be a specific one for the Lux Amp?

Here's my options:

Splice-Pack SP306
located under rear-passenger seat (very close and a convenient hookup....so this SP is preferred!):
- LGM Class 2 Serial Data (circuit 2288, light-blue)
- FPDM Class 2 Serial Data (circuit 1047, tan)
- DDM Class 2 Serial Data (circuit 1046, brown)
- Serial Communications Circuit (circuit 2218, dk-blue / white)

-or-

Splice-Pack SP205
located at the front-driver side of the I/P:

- DLC Class 2 Serial Data (1132, purple)
- PCM Class 2 Serial Data (1049, dk green)
- ATC Class 2 Serial Data (1133, dk-green / white)
- Digital Radio Receiver Class 2 (5679, yellow) <--- may not be a wire present
- ABS/TCS Class 2 Serial Data (1122, Light blue)
- SDM Class 2 serial data (1128, dk blue)
- IPC Class 2 Serial data (1036, gray)
- Serial Communications Circuit (2218, dk-blue / white)
- Radio Class 2 Serial Data (1044, orange)
- Rear HVAC / Audio Class 2 Serial Data (2289, Gray)
- HVAC Class 2 Serial Data (1038, white)
- BCM Class 2 Serial Data (1037, light-green)

Does it matter which "Class 2 Serial Data" I use to tap into?  Will any of these options listed above work as a tap-in point for the Lux Amp? (prefer it to be from SP306)  If not, is there a Class-2 output that I can use off the back of the TNR HU?

I'm stuck until I can get some assistance from ya'll... Thanks so much, happy turkey day!!

After sleeping on it, I'm thinking the safest would be to pull from SP205, circuit 2289..... OR, if I can find the connector for the RSA (somewhere buried in the rear of the center console, I presume), pull Circuit 2289 from there..... (?)

I've got sound!!

Once I got my head on straight and realized that a splice pack is merely a hub for common signals, I connected the Class-II wire to an open port on the SP, and BAM! I have sound....!!!

I am trying to do an install in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado.  :oI would like to connect to the splice pack. Is the schematic the same for your Avalanche as my Silvy.  :laugh:If not where can I get a wiring schematic?

You must be out west, if you have a RSA you can slice it in there, light blue wire. But I see this is your first post we need more info you did get the Lux HU and it's Unlock. Sperry is out west but it's 1:15  am. Please post what you are doing and what model number AMP and Head Unit you have if sperry or someone else  does not see this tonight, I will help you in the morning
