I'm trying to add a video output to my stock rear dvd system (RSE).  Sperry, I have seen the diagrams you posted on this subject however the wire colors are quite different than my '05, do you have a diagram of the plug itself or know where I can find it?

Thanks

Hmmm, All I have it the one I posted. And that was a `burb. There's another with the Front & Rear screen distribution amp hook-up, but the same year & wiring color.

I would look for it but I don't have SI access at this time. banghead

At least I know there's a change, needing the diagram posted. Roll Eyes

Fast Eddie - Have you had any luck with the plug identification?  I also have the RSE and wish to add headrest monitors but have not been able to identify the correct wires from the stock Panisonic DVD player.  Mine is a 04 AV.

Gm_Geek do you still have those wire diagrams/schematics for the 07 available, I would very much like to see those before I start reengineering the video system in my 07 LT3.

Thanks

05 RSE

This is the connector that connects the DVD to the AV, by the looks of it the splitter box is in the DVD housing  Huh because the connector does not match the schematic.

GM_Geek,   You Rock.. Those are exaclty what I needed.  I can only figure on the the audio the annotation "DNU" means Do Not Use.  I'll figure it out thought.

Thanks for everything and I will let you know how I make out.

there is a little trick to it
right after you disconnect your factory radio, you'll loose power to infrared module, which is located in your overhead screen.
so what you'll need to do is, remove RSA module (behined your center console). You'll see 2 connectors, gray and green. on your gray connector, locate pink wire (pin#14) and connect switched 12 volt FUSED power to it. so that way you'll still able to use factory headphones. audio signals for infrared module are located at gray plug behined radio. I'm sure by looking at diagramm you already figured that out
