Hi,
My car is still at the shop and they called me and said that the Alpine TV that was stolen from my car has been discontinued.  So they told me to pick a replacement and I went with the Panasonic CQ-VAD7300U.  Does anyone know how to bypass the video lock while the car is in motion?

it's usally a parking brake engaged "pick up" connection, or sometimes I have seen reall toughies use the DRL on wire (that energizes when you move the shift lever out of park). Should be NO problem to disable, typically by simply "cutting" the connection to the unit

I had a panosonic DVD player in my old car. The Video lockout was attached to the parking brake. It provided 12 volts when the parking brake was engaged. I simply wired it straight to a 12 volt source. No problem after that.
