I just got an Alpine IVA-D900 DVD/CD/MP3 player Head Unit with a 7" LCD screen.

I have a few wiring questions.

Where do I find these wire locations so I can splice in the yellow/blue and yellow/black wires.

yellow/blue wire from the wiring harness goes to foot brake cord or brake lamp cord.

yellow/black wire from the wiring harness goes to parking brake lead.

If you hook up those wires as directed, you won't be able to watch any video when the car is moving.  Just ground them.

On the D-900 you can not just ground them, they are looking for a pulse sequence, one is looking for ground, on is looking for 12v pos. the easiest way to do the workaround for watching while in motion is to use the PAC TR7 adaptor that will do the pulse sequence for you.

The more important thing to consider with any screen is to make sure to set it to manual open and close, as the transmission stalk when in the P position will not allow the screen to open or close.

I have the D900 and have had it for quite a while now, and it has been in 2 vehicles now, so if you have any questions please ask.
