I'm guessing you mean that the ball mount is stuck inside the receiver?
Your description is rather lacking.
If my guess is right, soak the receiver tube from both ends with something like PB Blaster or other penetrating lube, and hammer at the ball mount SIDEWAYS a bit, not foreward and aft, break the grip of the rust.

How's momma and the new little one?

They are doing great!  The new baby boy is sleeping better than his 21month old sister.   Thanks for the thoughts.

Sounds good.  I will be in town awhile, due to the new baby thing, so we could plan something.

How is your second job going?  This crazy weather must be keeping you busy every evening and weekend.

I Love My Lifted 05 Chevy Avalanche Z71

Add me to the list. I was on here a couple of years ago when I had my 05 Southern Comfort Avalanche on 23"s. However I sold it. and jacked up a brand new 07 2 door Jeep Wrangler on 22"s with 35"s. But I have since married and I bought my wife a 4 door Jeep Wrangler lifted with 35"s and I know have another Avalanche which I hope to keep for a while. It is a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche Z71 4x4. Black. only 55,000 Miles and looks and rides like brand new. What has been done to date: 6" Fabtech, 18" panther wheels, New 35" Kumho Venture MT. Bugguard, Window Guards, Tint. Looking to add complete alarm with remote and auto window rollup in the next couple of weeks, and hopefully also order the saddle box and tailgate power locks, subs for the rear, black textured factory fender flares, husky liners, and a ton of other items on the ever growing wish list, that does not seems to match up with the ever diminishing bank account, LOL. I'm baaaaaack and still listed.  I may be trading my '07 Avy today for an '08 IF the deal is right and I get all the features I now have.  I found an '09 listed at an Opelika, AL dealer but got the feeling they weren't interested in doing business so I'm off to Montgomery, AL this morning to see one on the lot.

I didn't trade. The '08 had less features than my '07 and had 22,000 miles with a little over 500 hours.  Mine has 33,000 and 300 hours.

Maybe when the 2010's come out, someone will have an '09 for trade.
