Cool. I think that makes 3 red Avs for camping/RV. Check out the camping threads too. We're still trying to figure out which site to try to get us all together at if you're interested.

Quite possibly year round school.  Many of the school systems around Tennessee are reviewing year round calendars.

barf  Too hot in the summer for kids to be in school.  I know.  I see the effects of starting in early August.  It's TERRIBLE and the kids can't take the heat.

Are you kidding me?  Can't take the heat?  If they weren't in school, they'd be outside, in the heat, jumping on the trampoline, playing football, skateboarding, scootering, etc.  I have seen my boys come in the house absolutely dripping wet with sweat and look at me funny when I tell them to head up stairs and take a shower before sitting down on the furniture.

Nope.  Not kidding you.  I see them all the time.  Your kids are the exception to the rule now.  It's sad but true.  Check around and see all the kids passing out, dying, and being hospitalized due to the heat and activities in school in August and September.  I know that I used to be just like your kids, but they don't do that anymore.
